Due to all the properties that plastic barrels or vats, as they are sometimes called, possess, where price is a very important factor, our wine barrels are much cheaper than other solutions.

  • guarantee water impermeability and a long-term solution, as the material loses only 5% of its properties after 50 years of use
  • resistant to UV rays, withstand extreme temperatures from -30° C to + 80° C, meaning you can keep them outside as well
  • have good load-bearing capacity
  • resistant to impacts, meaning they do not show visible traces, during relocation, there will be no damage
  • and what is very important they are easy to install and have minimal maintenance costs.

PLASTIC WINE BARRELS WITH FLOATING LIDSm

Unlike plastic barrels for pomace, plastic barrels for grapes or wine are made differently. We make them with a floating lid or another way they are called barrels with a water seal. Wine is a bit more specific than brandy, so it needs to be protected from oxidation that could cause changes in wine quality. It is best to pour paraffin oil into the belt that fits the lid.

Also, it is possible to add all kinds of fittings and taps, various valves, level indicators, fittings with external or internal threads, inspection openings to our wine barrels, and for easier handling, we can install handles or grips on them.

The good side of Čabar Plast barrels, barrels, or wine vats is that they are easy to maintain and need to be washed only with water and deposits from wine acid are easily removed. You already know that they do not absorb and do not emit any odors or tastes, so they can be used for brandy, sauerkraut, water barrels, and similar.

Dimensions and Capacities of Plastic Wine Barrels

It is possible to install all kinds of standard and non-standard fittings, various level indicators, taps, and barrels can be delivered with or without a lid on PLASTIC BARRELS.

The table lists the capacities of standard production from 500 to 5000 liters, but barrels of smaller or larger capacities can be made according to customer needs.
